Below are answers to some of the most common questions that we receive. These FAQ's are more general in nature. If you have questions, especially technical ones that are not answered here, please go to our Help Desk for a full list of FAQ's, a Knowledge Base, and a Support Ticket system. In addition to the Help Desk, we also have a series of video tutorials which you can find here on the website.

Q1. How Many Machines Can I Install Karaoke Surgeon On?

Your purchase of Karaoke Surgeon (KS) comes with two licenses. If you ordered the Windows version you can install on 2 Windows machines at the same time. If Mac, then two Mac machines. If you wish to run on both Mac and Windows then you can buy the Dual OS option – in addition to your regular purchase of a Mac or Win version. This combination will allow you to run the program on 2 machines of either Windows or Mac or a combination of both.

Q2. If I Have Used Both Licenses And Want To Get A New Machine And Install It On This Third Machine, Do I Need To Buy Another Copy?

If you are buying a new machine or want to simply switch installations from one machine to another there are a couple of ways to handle this. The simplest is to go to the machine on which KS in currently installed and go to Help >> Deactivate Machine. This will remove that machine from our system and if you previously had two machines licensed, our system will remove this registered machine and now show only one, allowing you to install the program and register it on another machine.

A second way to do this is to log into your “My Account” page on our site. Once logged in, you’ll find a list of your machines on which KS is registered. Click the remove button next to the one you’d like to remove, and once done, you’ll be able to activate a different machine within our system.

Q3. What Kind of Support is Provided for Karaoke Surgeon?

Karaoke Surgeon has a full service Help Desk that includes Incident Support Tickets, FAQ’s, A Knowledge Base, Download Link and News. The Help Desk is always the first stop for support. Based upon the ticket information you provide we will decide how to handle your issue. We may call, correspond via the Help Desk, do a remote assistance session, etc. In addition, we also have a written User Guide and a series of training vidoes which will answer most of your questions and help you get up the learning curve quickly.

Your purchase of Karaoke Surgeon entitled to 1 year of free support. This free support refers specifically to the use of Incident Support Sessions or Tickets. Customers are always welcome to use the Support Desk at anytime with this exception, even if their support period has expired. Customers may also buy Incident Support Sessions or Annual Support Plans after their support period has ended to extend indefinitely this support period.

Q4. What Are The Computer Hardware Requirements for Karoke Surgeon?

Here are the suggested requirement for running Karoke Surgeon .

  • 4 GB RAM minimum (Recommended: 8 GB or more)

Q5. Will Karaoke Surgeon Run on Mobile Devices?

A mobile app version of Karaoke Surgeon is currently being developed but is not yet available. We expect availability during the last half of 2019.

The Karaoke Surgeon mobile app will be sold separately from the desktop version of the software.
